Dr Jonathan Waters has accepted an invitation to sit on the Editorial Board of Transfusion for an initial 4 year term. Editorial board members are not only asked to review submitted manuscripts, but are called upon to write editorials, commentaries or reviews concerning current topics in transfusion medicine that would be of interest to the readership. Transfusion, the journal of the AABB, has been publishing peer reviewed manuscripts since 1961. Its success is due in part to the energy and integrity of all involved, from the authors to the reviewers.
