As the Norwegian Trade Commissioner to the US, Hans Dahll helped Asmund Laerdal introduce Resusci Anne to this country in 1960. He served as CEO of the Laerdal Medical Corporation during the first 22 years (1967 - 1989). His contributions to building a strong Laerdal branch in the US are best illustrated by the fact that The Citizen CPR Foundation in 1988 established the prestigious Hans H. Dahll Award in his honor, presented to the main keynote speaker at every ECCU Conference since 1990. Hans Dahll served as President of The Asmund S. Laerdal Foundation For Acute Medicine In The US for over 25 years and as such was instrumental to provision of the many sizable grants and other financial support provided to SCCR, CCM and WISER over the past four decades.
