Dr. Dawn Marcus has been selected to receive the Media Excellence Award from the National Headache Foundation (NHF).  This award is being presented to honor the role she played in calling attention to the widespread problem of headache, and in particular migraine.  Her book, 10 Simple Solutions to Migraine, will go a long way toward increasing public awareness and education about this life-altering disease.

This award will be presented at the twenty-first annual fund raising benefit which is being held on Saturday, April 21, 2007 at the Waldorf-Astoria in New York City. More than 250 people are expected to attend this gala event including pharmaceutical industry executives, physicians, supporters of NHF and others.
