Dr. Shawn T. Beaman received the Clerkship Preceptor of the Year Award for 2008 from the School of Medicine.  The award recognizes faculty clinical preceptors who consistently provide outstanding clinical instruction in the clerkship setting for University of Pittsburgh medical students.  Recipients are chosen by the medical students themselves.  Dr. Beaman serves as the medical student coordinator at Montefiore University Hospital and also is the rotation director for our department’s clinical base internship.  Congratulations!
