Please review the following letter regarding research assistance from the the University Center for Social and Urban Research (USCUR). For more details, please click on the link at the bottom of the page.
Dear Department Chair/Administrator:
The University Center for Social and Urban Research (UCSUR) is an
interdisciplinary, academic research center at the University of
Pittsburgh that offers a wide range of research services to
faculty, staff, and students. UCSUR emphasizes collection and
analysis of high quality social, behavioral, and health science
data, including all phases of survey research by web, telephone, or
mail, qualitative data collection, management, and analysis including
in-depth interviewing, focus group facilitation, transcription and
qualitative coding, and mixed-method integrative approaches.
We wanted to make you aware of our capabilities in light of the recently
issued NIH Challenge Grant opportunity. UCSUR has extensive experience
in the development and implementation of NIH-funded protocols as well
as other types of proposals, and we would be happy to discuss how we
can assist you in a response to this initiative.
In order to make more members of the University community aware of the
services UCSUR offers, we ask that you forward this email to your
faculty, staff and graduate students, or post the attached document on
your departmental bulletin board. Thank you for your consideration.
