Congratulations to Clinical Assistant Professor Kathirvel Subramaniam, MD, whose textbook Anesthesia and Perioperative Care for Aortic Surgery, co-authored with Kyung Park and Balachundhar Subramaniam, was recently published. The book is the first comprehensive reference on anesthesia and perioperative care for aortic surgery, providing detailed descriptions of aortic surgery and anesthesia for specific aortic procedures, including ascending aorta, arch, descending aorta, endovascular surgery, trauma, and surgery for congenital aortic pathologies.
