Raymond M. Planinsic, MD, Professor and Director of Transplant Anesthesiology, recently accepted an invitation to join the World Journal of Anesthesiology (WJA) Editorial Board.
WJA is a new bimonthly, peer-reviewed, online, open-access journal supported by an editorial board consisting of anesthesiology experts all over the world. WJA covers general, local, obstetric, pediatric, neurosurgical, cardiovascular, and organ transplantation anesthesia, as well as anesthesia complications, monitoring, new techniques, and quality control. Other topics covered include airway management, volume therapy, pain diagnosis and treatment, and intensive care. The journal also publishes original articles and reviews that report the results of applied and basic research in fields related to anesthesiology, such as immunology, physiopathology, cell biology, pharmacology, and medical genetics.
