Anesthesiology Board Review Course
The UPP Department of Anesthesiology, the University of Pittsburgh, the University of Pittsburgh Center for Continuing Education in the Health Sciences, and CMEinfo are pleased to announce the Anesthesiology Board Review Course. This course offers an in-depth review designed to provide anesthesiologists and anesthesiologists-in-training with current and relevant information to prepare for the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Certification and Cognitive Examination for Maintenance of Certification (MOCA). The update of this popular course offers participants the unique opportunity to review key topics in several formats.
Dr. Rita M. Patel, Program Chair, and other experienced clinician-educator faculty will offer useful exam-taking techniques, emphasizing what (and what not) to study, how to study, how to maximize time, and how to gain confidence. Participants will receive a focused review of anesthesiology practices, including pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative management, post-anesthesia care, critical care medicine, and pain management.
