Request for Anesthesiology Resident Research Submissions:
You are invited to enter the 5th annual Pennsylvania Anesthesiology Resident Research Competition. Submissions can be made in either of two categories:
♦ Original Research (clinical, basic or education/simulation)
♦ Case Report
All submissions need to be in abstract format - one (1) page including standard format of title, author(s)/affiliation, introduction, methods, results and discussion. In addition, please include a one (1) page cover letter specifying the category of the submission, disclosure of any financial support or industry relationship, and, in the case of original research, assurance that the appropriate human or animal subject requirements have been adhered to in performance of submitted work.
All submissions should be forwarded to Dr. Scott Schartel (scott.schartel@tuhs.temple.edu) no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, April 2, 2010 for consideration. Please place “PARRC” in the subject line, and please copy the submission to Ms. Minette Manalo (minette.manalo@tuhs.temple.edu). A panel of judges will review all presentations, with the winners being announced at the conclusion of the meeting. A full agenda with details will follow.
